MomDoc Charities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by the Goodman family (the same family that started MomDoc in 1976). We promote physical and mental health in the community, increasing support for programs and families in need across Arizona.
To increase support for community programs serving children, mothers, and families in need. We believe that the health of a community starts with the health of its families, and that everyone deserves a seat at the table.
From our flagship Thanksgiving event to international outreach, every program starts with a simple question: who needs help right now?
Now in its 8th year, hundreds of volunteers and Host Families come together on Thanksgiving Day to share dinner, games, and joy with 400+ foster children living in group homes across Arizona.
Learn moreWe partnered with Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport to design and furnish dedicated Mother's Rooms: private, secure spaces with glider chairs, changing tables, and children's books for nursing mothers traveling through Arizona.
Socks, blankets, and essential supplies sent to families in Nicaragua. Small items that make an outsized difference for communities with limited resources.

“Every dollar helps remind these kids that they're seen, valued, and loved.”
Nick Goodman founded Kid Connection after learning an uncomfortable truth: children in foster care living in group homes (today's language for orphanages) often have no one on Thanksgiving. No turkey, no family around a table, no one telling them they matter.
So Nick partnered with ASA Now and The Lavender Farm at Chateau de Vie to change that. What started as a dinner for a few dozen kids has grown into an event where hundreds of volunteers and Host Families spend Thanksgiving Day with 400+ foster children, sharing dinner, playing yard games, and creating joyful memories together.
It's a room full of people who came specifically to say: “I'm glad you're here.”

Beyond our own programs, MomDoc Charities contributes to organizations that serve mothers, children, and families across Arizona.

For $35, you can sponsor a foster child's complete Thanksgiving experience: whether it's $5, $35, or $500, every dollar helps remind these kids that they're seen, valued, and loved.
